The institute
Our commitments, with their timeframes
A commitment without a timeframe stays an intention. Here are ours: quantified, enforceable and identical for every enrolled learner, whatever the programme and whatever the fee paid.
The timeframes we hold
Each line is a commitment by the institution, not an observed average. It holds from the first day of your enrolment to the last day of your path.
| Commitment | Timeframe | What follows |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to an application | 10 working days | Written, reasoned decision, either way |
| Acknowledgement of a request | 2 working days | The name of the person taking the file |
| Written reply to a complaint | 10 working days | Written reasoning, and the appeal route |
| Review of an assessment | On simple request | Review by a person, no justification needed |
| Access to the learning space | As soon as enrolment is confirmed | Content open, without waiting for term |
What is yours from enrolment
Seven things open up the moment your enrolment is confirmed. They form the service base, identical across every programme in the catalogue.
- Full access to the programme content, available offline
- The course-anchored tutor, available at any hour
- The dated calendar of deliverables and collective sessions
- The marking grid for every assessment, published before submission
- The name of your cohort lead and of your markers
- The exact number of supervised hours you are entitled to
- The total amount payable, in Guinean francs, with its schedule
What you take with you, whatever happens
A path can pause for any number of professional or personal reasons. What has been validated stays yours: records already issued attest to past facts, and they remain verifiable online whatever you decide to do next with your enrolment.
- 01
Your work
Submitted pieces and their signed corrections stay downloadable from your space, in an open format.
- 02
Your validated units
Every unit obtained stays yours and is reused on resumption, without retaking the matching assessment.
- 03
Your competency record
It details what was assessed and the outcome, competency by competency, as at its date of issue.
- 04
Your resumption
You resume at the next unit, in the session of your choice, and you cease to owe the instalments for units not started.

Questions about our commitments
Do these timeframes hold in busy periods?
They are stated in working days precisely so they hold all year round, admission peaks included. A timeframe that varied with workload would be an estimate rather than a commitment, and it would fail you at the very moment you needed it.
Whom do I contact if a timeframe is missed?
The institution, through the complaint route published on the governance page. The file is logged, a name is given to you within two working days, and the written answer follows within ten. The route is the same for a timeframe as for a mark.
Do commitments vary with the fee paid?
They are identical for every enrolled learner, from the shortest format to the longest programme. Supervision, marking, the tutor and the appeal routes depend on neither the programme nor the fee: what varies is duration, workload and the award issued.

- VisionTalent that wants to qualify without leaving home, employers hiring for precise skills: a single equation, solved in one place. IHETC is built to hold it, and this page says exactly how.
- Our modelA programme is judged on three things: what is taught, how you verify it was learned, and who answers for it. Here are our three answers, with what makes each of them true.
- Teaching methodAn hour of teaching at IHETC has a precise shape, and it is the same across every programme. Knowing it before you enrol tells you what you will do with your time, week after week.
- GovernanceAn institution that names its officers commits someone. Here is who carries the project, which decisions belong to people, and the exact route a complaint follows.
- Academic governanceDecisions touching programmes and awards are taken in council, on a written agenda and by vote. Here is what the academic council settles, how it sits, and what follows from each of its meetings.
- Academic teamFour roles surround every programme, and each carries a written responsibility. Knowing who designs, who marks and who follows you tells you whom to contact, from day one.
- QualityTeaching quality is proved by the circuit that produces it and by the reviews that correct it. Here are both, with their cadence, their checkpoints and what every report triggers.
- Status and authorisationsIHETC is a private higher education institution, authorised by order of the ministry responsible for higher education and approved as a vocational training centre. Here are both frameworks, what they permit, and how to check them.
- Ethics and use of AITooling produces fast, a person guarantees. This page says precisely where the tool operates, where the decision belongs to someone, and what you can expect from it during your programme.
- Data protectionA remote institution holds information about your path. Here is what it holds, what each item is for, how long it lives, and the six actions you can take yourself at any time.
- AccessibilityAccessibility is decided on concrete details: the weight of a page, the size of a text, content that opens without a network, a pace that works alongside a job. Here is how each of those points is handled.
- Applied researchResearch here carries an obligation to deliver: every project ends in a teachable module, a usable framework or a delivered tool. Here are the priorities, the circuit and the application grounds.
- International outlookAn award travels provided it is documented the way an equivalence office expects. Here is what every IHETC file contains, what a programme allows from another country, and how it can all be checked.
- Institutional partnershipsA school, an administration or a company working with us obtains a programme, a calendar and defensible records. Here are the four possible forms, what each covers, and how an agreement is put in place.
- SustainabilityIHETC's frugality comes from its model, not from a campaign: with no campus to heat, no daily commuting and no imposed paper, the essentials are secured by design. Here is exactly what that covers.
- PatronageA patron here funds something very precise: a place, a piece of equipment, or a practitioner's time. Here are the three forms open, what each covers exactly, and what the patron receives in return.
- Institutional calendarAn institutional year follows a fixed frame: admissions, opening, mid-point, assessments, boards. Knowing it tells you when to file an application, when you will be assessed and when your award is issued.
- The institute in figuresEvery number on this page is computed from the deposited catalogue at the moment the site is built. None is typed in by hand, which lets you recount them all for yourself.
