Pausing, then resuming exactly where you stopped
Life sometimes arrives in the middle of a programme. A pause is declared, it stops the instalments falling after it, and everything validated stays yours. You resume at the next block, with no file to rebuild.
A pause is declared and organised
Holding someone through debt is the surest way never to see them again. A pause is therefore declared in writing from your personal space, takes effect at the end of the current block, and you stop owing the instalments falling after your departure. What has been paid covers what has been taken, what has been validated stays yours, and you resume at the next block with the outstanding balance, spread over the arrangement you choose. This mechanism is written down before enrolment so nobody has to discover it under pressure.
How a pause is set up
- 01
Declare in writing
From your personal space, stating the date you want. No supporting document is required.
- 02
Close the current block
The pause takes effect at its end, so that any assessment under way keeps its full value.
- 03
Stop the later instalments
Payments falling after your departure cease to be due, from the moment the pause takes effect.
- 04
Set the resumption window
You state the period you are aiming for, and the institution confirms the block you will resume at.

Pause questions
How long can a pause last?
You state the resumption window when you declare the pause, and it can be extended on a simple written request. The credits obtained stay yours throughout.
Does the programme amount change on resumption?
You resume on the outstanding balance of your route, computed from the amount notified to you. What has been paid covers what you have taken.
Does content access continue during the pause?
The blocks already taken stay available. Many people use them to ease back in before formally resuming, and that is a good use of them.
Is a new interview needed to resume?
Your admission file is kept: resumption is confirmed from your personal space, and a short conversation is enough to settle the restart block.
