Most organisations own their data without being able to read it: it lives in a management system, a spreadsheet and the memory of three people. This programme trains you to gather it, clean it and derive indicators a director grasps in thirty seconds. It insists on what programmes in this field usually skip: the quality of the input data, without which a dashboard is only a well-presented error.

    Facts and dimensions, granularity, history keeping, the data warehouse

    Choosing the chart from the question, visual hierarchy, thresholds, alerts

Real prerequisite

What follows is assumed and will not be explained again. If most of it is foreign to you, this is not the right entry point — better to know now than at the final assessment.

Comfort with a spreadsheet and a taste for figures. No programming is assumed: the first module puts it in place.
