From discovery to your certificate

Your journey, step by step

What happens, from your first click on the catalogue to earning your certificate.

  1. Choose your programme

Compare 30 programmes across 5 schools: every page shows its duration, credits, supervised hours, pace and fees in Guinean francs.

  2. Create your applicant account

A phone number and an email address are enough. Your file stays open and you resume it whenever you like, from any device.

  3. Submit your file

Enter your background, attach your documents in digital format and confirm. A clear photo taken on a phone makes an acceptable supporting document.

  4. Pay the application fee

Payment by mobile money, card or bank transfer, from Guinea or from abroad. Review begins the moment the payment arrives.

  5. Guidance interview

Thirty minutes with an advisor, by video call or phone, to confirm the programme, the pace and the calendar that suit you.

  6. Admission decision

The panel's answer reaches you within two working days, together with your detailed offer: programme, cohort, calendar and payment schedule.

  7. Access to the digital campus

Your credentials open IHETC Learn: courses, exercises, live classes, cohort calendar, forum and teaching assistant, from validation onwards.

  8. Follow the teaching

You progress through modules totalling 10 supervised hours per credit, surrounded by your cohort, your teachers and the tutor.

  9. Sit the assessments

Continuous assessment through the modules, remotely proctored exams at the end of each block, then a defence of your professional project before a joint panel.

  10. Receive your award

Depending on the programme, you receive one of the catalogue awards: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Professional certificate or Course attendance certificate. Each carries its public verification link and comes with your skills portfolio.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is an IHETC award worth?

Every programme leads to the award listed in its catalogue: a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, a Professional certificate or a Course attendance certificate. The document carries the validated skills, the hours and a public verification reference an employer opens without creating an account. The institution's regulatory status and the reference of the act that establishes it are published on the dedicated page, and updated at every change.

How many hours of work should I plan per week?

The official catalogue rule is public and applies to every programme: 1 credit represents 25 hours of work, of which 10 are supervised. Every programme page shows its credits, its supervised hours and the resulting weekly load, calculated rather than estimated. You therefore know what you are committing to before you apply.

How does an employer verify my certificate?

Every document issued carries a reference and a verification link. The employer opens the verification page on the site, enters the reference and immediately reads the holder's identity, the exact title, the date of issue and the document's validity. The process is free, public and requires no account.

Do I need a fast connection to follow the courses?

The platform is built for the sub-region's real mobile connection: lightweight content, videos available in low definition, pages readable once loaded and work in progress kept locally. A phone and an intermittent connection are enough to follow a whole programme.

Can I study while working?

Yes. Most programmes exist in a job-compatible pace, and short formats are self-paced. Live classes are scheduled in the evening and on Saturdays, and each one is recorded and made available to the cohort. Every programme page states the pace on offer.

How do exams work?

Continuous assessment runs through the modules. End-of-block exams are remotely proctored, in slots announced in the cohort calendar. The final professional project is defended before a panel that brings together teachers and professionals from the sector concerned.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, in three or ten monthly instalments, for the same total amount. Payment is by mobile money, bank card or transfer. Employer funding is arranged through a training agreement, which the admissions office draws up with them.

Are scholarships available?

Partial merit scholarships and group rates exist, along with a dedicated scale for companies enrolling several employees. They are assessed on file: contact the admissions office before applying, as the request is reviewed alongside the application.

What happens if I fall behind?

The platform spots disengagement within days and alerts your cohort supervisor, who calls you. The pace can be rearranged once per academic year, and modules already validated stay validated: you resume exactly where you stopped.

Can I study from abroad?

Yes. Programmes open from any country, and fees are paid by international transfer or card. Proctored exams and defences take place by video conference, at times agreed with your cohort and compatible with your time zone.
